An early photograph of Chief Little Bear at the Liberty Bell. Including a letter written to M.D.Higgins from the United States Department of the Interior, National Parks Service, Philadelphia PA.   Which states “1915, black and white photograph of Native American in native dress touching the Liberty Bell at San Fransico Panama-Pacific Exposition with autograph in white lettering that reads “Chief Little Bear”.” They also said that this photograph is the only one known to have his signature.

A short note from my prospective “by the look on Chief Little Bear’s face, it looks like he had just struck the “Liberty Bell” with this his tomahawk, causing the crack that shows the injustice and lack of “Liberty” towards Native Americans”.
