This is a really good example of an Acoma jar with lugs, scalloped rim and beautiful painted designs.
Circa 1920
Measures 9″ in height, 8 3/4″ in width.
Attributed to Artist Mary Histia (1895-1973), is recognized as certainly one of the finest Acoma Pueblo potters of the early twentieth century.
Condition is fair and in need of some conservation.
