Sioux Beaded Pictorial Glass Bottle. Circa 1905. Height – 10 1/2″ ” Width – 4 1/4″ Depth – 2 1/8″.  Unusual Beaded bottle – the glass neck of the bottle tilts at an angle. Original stopper. Wrapped in a soft hide and sinew sewn beads. There were numerous brass bells around the top, but all are missing but one (can be easily restored). Along the bottom hanging on chains are 7 American dimes dating from 1887-1905. (several dimes are missing), The bottle is beaded on both sides with early red white heart, greasy yellows and other period beads. The center of the large star is filled with “rusted” metal beads. On one side it has the name Lucy at the top, a pair of American flags in the center and the initials N.B. at the bottom. The opposite side has a large star (rusted” metal beads in the center and design elements extending from each point.  Custom mount.
